Civil Society and America at 250: The Past and Future of What Has Made America Exceptional

THE SEMIQUINCENTENNIAL COMETH
Nonprofits and civic organizations have played a crucial role throughout our nation’s history—perhaps now more than ever. During our fifth annual Givers, Doers, & Thinkers conference, we’ll focus on strengthening civil society on America’s 250th birthday. A revived and revitalized civil society is crucial to our nation’s flourishing, so let’s discuss how to promote it!

The conference will take place on November 6th, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA at the Union League.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 5th, an optional tour of a local historic site will be offered, followed by an opening cocktail hour featuring our welcome speaker.
The conference itself will take place on Thursday, November 6th, and will run from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a closing reception.
